Designed to suit students from a range of science and healthcare backgrounds, you'll receive rigorous training in genomics and apply it to clinical practice and medical research. During your studies, you'll evaluate the potential of large-scale patient genome analysis to revolutionise healthcare across inherited disease, cancer and infectious disease. You'll also consider its implications in the healthcare setting, and critically analyse the societal and ethical context of genomic medicine. Teaching is delivered through a blended format of learning that incorporates face-to-face and online teaching, live webinars, and self-study.
