Wide range of research interests including: Building: prefabricated modular construction, facade technology, management of construction process; environmental systems engineering: heating and ventilating and air conditioning systems, low-energy cooling, air flow in buildings; construction management: simulating work process changes, multimedia communications, information transfer, new sub-contractor management systems; geotechnics: buried pipes, trench less pipe laying and tunnelling, road foundations, slope stability engineering; land surveying: instrumentation, digital terrain modelling, computation, photogrammetry; quantity surveying: quality assurance, procurement, services, risk management; structures and materials: concrete and other structural materials, concrete durability, repair and bonding, cable mechanics and tension structures; water engineering: computational and experimental environmental fluid dynamics (with relevance to rivers, estuaries and coastal seas), water quality and waste treatment.
Necessary qualifications:
Appropriate degree qualification or equivalent qualification and/or experience.
