Irene, June 2007Overall score
This university used to have good student services but since the new pro VC too over there are poor services to the students.
Study experience
The university offers bursaries and international relations programmes. The IR program us better than the bursaries one. Overall all of the teachers are relaxed and helpful.
Facilities
There is a small library, however the students can use Senate House (UCL) library. There are 2 computer labs with good internet connection and plenty of PC's.
Postgraduate life
None.

Marketing - mba
Oxford Brookes University
Noma, June 2007Overall score
Study experience
I am a new International student with Oxford Brookes starting in Sept 07. for the Mba- Marketing course. I can not comment on the teaching methods but being an experienced marketing person seeking to enhance my knowldge , I find that their couse content is both interesting and informative. I was greatly attracted to their offer which promises great international exposure and thus being highly relevant for my career needs.
Facilities
Having looked at their brochure and scanned their website, I found that they are quite modern. Coming from a third world country, it maybe daunting to see and be told of the vast IT facilities which we only here about. So I believe they have what they say they have and i look forward to enhancing my IT skills -
Postgraduate life
I have not started yet so I can't comment on the students and other. All I can say is that the Ladies responsible for the pg admissions handled my case very professionally and sensitively. I have not had such excellent service anywhere. They are very good. They apply the human touch eloquently while following their institutions policies - a very rare combination indeed.
