Postgraduate Chemical Engineering reviews

Review

Advanced Chemical Engineering with Biotechnology (BIO) MSc

Imperial College London

Maria, November 2008

Overall score

It's great. Be prepared to spend a lot

Study experience

More or less the same as expected. Keep on top of your work, it will make the exam period much more "enjoyable".

Facilities

The library is newly refurbished but could do with more computers. The bar can get cramped during busy times. Good sport facilities and a nice gym and swimming pool.

Postgraduate life

There are loads, some of which are possibly a bit pointless. I'm a member of a couple.

Job prospects

I would prefer to work. You learn lots of important technical and transferrable skills and Imperial is a very reputable uni for science based careers.

University of Nottingham

Chemical Engineering MSc

University Of Nottingham

Varaporn, September 2008

Overall score

Ok experience

Study experience

12 hours a week, some of the lecturers are quite good but some of the courses are boring.

Facilities

Sports facilities cost is quite high. The computer rooms have a lot of computers but no printer for free.

Postgraduate life

Thai society, get to know many people.

Job prospects

I am an international student without a working permit. It is quite hard to get a job but I believe if I prefer working in my country I should find job easily.
