It's ok.
Study experience
8 hours a week (PT). Lecturer's are more helpful on a one-to-one basis.
Facilities
Library is good, lots of computers. Don't know about bar and sports facilities.
Postgraduate life
Don't have any club, only a part-time student.
Job prospects
Progress in my career, yes it has helped.

Water Energy and the Environment MSc
Liverpool John Moores University
Alex, May 2010Overall score
The teaching on this course is terrible. I would not pay for this again. You don't get any work back over the year so you get no feedback to improve. Many of the lectures are outdated and lecturers do not take any of this criticism. Many lectures have been missed by the lecturers for various reasons and the exam papers were a joke!
Study experience
As discussed course is very outdated at times. Lectures are very disjointed and feel poorly prepared. However it is an MSc so you will need to study in your own time mostly but best not to rely on the lectures at all!
Facilities
Library is poor for built environment students. There is a lack of variety of texts, many journals aren't available and books are often from 1990s! Leaves a lot to be desired.
Postgraduate life
n/a to me
Job prospects
I haven't learnt as much as I'd hoped
