Postgraduate Therapies reviews

Croatian Student

Physiotherapy MSc

University Of East London

Tomislav, June 2010

Overall score

I would recommend this university to others if they ask me, I think there is still a lot of space for improvement in education system at the university. Please if you are planning to apply to study here, be accurate and in time with your application, don't wait until the last day. The personnel and lecturers are all helpful and knowledgeable. You will probably enjoy studying here.

Study experience

All senior lecturers are very professional and knowledgeable in their field of expertise. The majority is helpful but there are some issues with personal tutors, so you have to chase them hard and be persistent. The course itself is demanding and please take the advice and work hard from the start, then you will be successful. Try to freshen up your knowledge from Anatomy, Physiology and Statistics it will help a lot.

Facilities

The library is good and it is going through refurbishment. The books are available almost in any area that I need. Computers are good and there is usually enough of them. Some computers could be booked in advance. There are bars and restaurants, offering a variety of food even for vegetarians. Sports facilities are also available.

Postgraduate life

There are many interesting clubs and societies at the university. Various cultural organisations and societies are open to anyone. Student Union is active as well and are organising various events. Sports society is also active. There is something for everyone...

Job prospects

I would like to apply for PhD at the same university. I think that this course helping me a lot to get a good job in the future. It certainly opened new horizons
