Postgraduate Building Design and Architecture reviews
MA International Architectural Regeneration and Development
Oxford Brookes University
Lmt, April 2007Overall score
Study experience
It is a full of architecture knowledge. The most suprised happened to me is when I saw Prof. Paul Oliver to be our lecturer, I liked his writings and his great thoughts about vernacular architecture and so it was really a good chance to me to be our lecturer!! Dr Aylin Orbasli is the course leader and she is such a great tutor, she will never histeate to advice you and give you the right ways of thinking related to architecture. We enjoyed our trip to India as it an international course, it is really a unique country with its monuments and heritage.
Facilities
The problem is on the university facilities. There is not enough concern for the international students.
Postgraduate life
nice atmosphere, I liked my group and we were really such a cooperative group

Urban Regeneration and Development MA
University Of Manchester (The)
Rob, July 2008Overall score
Make sure that you have a career focus. A degree will not guarantee anything.
Study experience
Very much down to yourself, how much you get out of uni. It pays to be disaplined and put in the effort.
Facilities
Can be a bit awkward to get on the computers sometimes so it's a very good idea to get a laptop, plenty of exercise facilities and bars inorder to balance your lifestyle.
Postgraduate life
Lots of sports teams and societies for any interest... literally.
Job prospects
I'm doing an MA. I think everyone can. I think this can be a good option to distinguish yourself from the crowd.
