Social Anthropology Ma (Hons)
University Of Edinburgh
Alexander, August 2007Overall score
Graduated this year and hugely enjoyed my university experience. Well-organised course, with some unusual course options, taught by some of the best known academics in the field.Possibly the only course which offers a practical element, where students conduct their own fieldwork and then write a 15,000 word thesis-this was a fantastic experience as it really is at the heart of the discipline.Highly recommended!
Study experience
Lecturers are varied but generally excellent.
Facilities
Library a bit outdated but is being refurbished.
Postgraduate life
Once again cannot really comment

Edinburgh Napier University
Charlotte, December 2007Overall score
I am Loving it. I mety loads of fab people, on a brilliant course and the university facilties are excellent. All campuses are easily acessable from all around edinburgh.
My biggest bit of advice is do not be shy, be yourself and take everything as it comes.
Study experience
For me the lecture times are perfect. Plenty of time off easy to understand and really no need for improvemment.
Facilities
Fab library - has everything there. Thosusand of comps. No bar in the campuses (i think they should bring that up in the senate).
Postgraduate life
O.M.G... there are loads of clubs and societies for anything you you can think of, from hockey and football to drama and even a "dungeons and dragons" type club. And if there is any other club you can think of starting up, just ask your class rep to bring it up at the senate.
Job prospects
MY course basically guarrentees me a career when I graduate... thanks. :)
