Postgraduate reviews

Top notch MBA, really benefited from the course

MBA

Nottingham Trent University

Mike, November 2008

Overall score

Study experience

The course included elective modules, core studies, a consultancy project and a dissertation. Excellent value, informed my whole approach to management, now running my own successful business.

Facilities

Facilities were to a very high standard, well resourced.

Postgraduate life

A key element of the course was teamwork with other students. Facilities on site are also very good, as is the location in Nottingham city centre.

Where to go to get your Maths GCSE...if you hate maths!!

GCSE MAths

New College Nottingham

Nigel, December 2008

Overall score

Study experience

Despite having a Degree and an MA I never took GCSE Maths, so I decided to take a GCSE maths evening class. I attended college once a week. Given that it was a maths course - the course content was understandable, the tutor was approachable and prepared to go the extra mile to get students through the exam. She responded to e-mails quickly and addressed each students problem using language and examples pitched at their level of understanding.

Facilities

The College was modern, the classrooms were not overcrowded. The materials supplied for the course (modular workbooks) were useful and of a good standard.

Postgraduate life

There were students of all ages and mixed abilities. Everyone was friendly, willing to help out if someone was having trouble understanding some aspect of the course.
