International Tourism and Hospitality Management MA
Middlesex University
Angel, April 2009Overall score
Any student thinking of studying at this university, look elsewhere. This uni is 105th in Times Higher Education Ranking 2009 in the UK out of a 110 universities. That says it all
Study experience
Courses are absolutely disorganised and Lecturers unprofessional and absolutely uninterested in students. I didn't learn anything from any of the sessons. Some lecturers bully and intimidate students. Some lecturers are just not interested in teaching properly or are not confident in the subject matter themselves or they are staff in training
Facilities
Library could do with more books, computers that actually work. could do with enough computers for the quantity of students actually there. printers and photocopiers don't work half the time. There could better and cheaper sports facilities.
Postgraduate life
Don't like any of the activities they organise
Job prospects
Can't see any job prospects with the quality of teaching on the degree courses at this university and with the quality of lecturers. Have paid so much money to the uni but i don't feel i have learnt anything so far
