Overall a great experience. Edinburgh is a wonderful city and the university has masses to offer.

Overall, the course was good, although the quality of staff did vary. The linguistics department was very good. Generally, more lectures would have been good.

Translation Studies and Comparative Cultural Studies MPhil
University Of Warwick
George, June 2008Overall score
Warwick is a great university which I would definitely recommend to others. The attention given to students should definitely be increased, during my physics degree in particular I felt unmotivated and unable to turn to any staff. The social life and sports/societies couldn't be bettered. The single most important piece of advice I can give is to be organised from day one or you will fall behind.
Study experience
I love my current course. The best bit of MA are the seminars and the discussions. I have 4 hours a week.
Facilities
very good library and computers.
Postgraduate life
You can join a whole range of clubs, from the cheese and chocolate society to Archery to Band practice. I was a member of the chorus, badminton and cricket, but now I row which takes up all my time!
