University Of Nottingham
Jim, June 2007Overall score
PhD's are very hard if you are not organised but very rewarding. Nottingham is a great place to be a student, but make sure you have the studying/social life balance right!
Study experience
Review the notes you make during lectures when you get home. It can be a boring thing to do but a good set of notes is invaluable.
Facilities
Lots of bars, plenty of computers, excellent library.
Postgraduate life
Societies relating to your course can be beneficial its best to join less and participate more.
