Music (Performance Studies) Mmus
University Of Huddersfield
Verity, September 2007Overall score
Great social scheme, fantastic music department, lots of money being spent on new facilities. Excellent, knowledgable staff
Study experience
I did a Bmus, and am halfway through an MMus. Wouldn't have gone back if I hadn't liked it...
Facilities
Sports... what now? Computer provision is good, as is reprographics and library etc...
Postgraduate life
Excellent, but then as a musician, I was co-erced into joining a lot of them
Job prospects
Well, all my coursemates are employed, not necessarily in music, but they all have jobs

Music (Research, Composition, Or Performance Practice) Mphil
Goldsmiths, University Of London
Maza, November 2007Overall score
I like the facilities but the lecturers are too easy and basic and it doesn't feel like i'm improving myself as much as I could be.
Study experience
I'm not impressed. I have only few lectures per week and they are too basic and easy. Wish there were more activities attached to the course.
Facilities
The library is fantastic! Great books and CD's, great opening hours, great service.
Postgraduate life
Not many clubs or society beside student unions cafe.

PhD Music
University Of Edinburgh
Anon, December 2007Overall score
Study experience
The research course at Edinburgh offers excellent support both human and bibliographical.
Facilities
Although some of the buildings are old the facilities are great. Even if you do not obtain the resources immediately they will provide what you need soon enough
Postgraduate life
Sometimes the undergraduate students do not consider the necessities of others such as silence in particular reserved places. Nonetheless the atmosphere is really fantastic.
