Amazing Experience!

Business And Management Christian Mba

Skerritt, June 2007

Overall score

The year that I have spent here at Brighton Uni has truly been life- changing for me. I've made so many friends from so many different cultures. The time spent here has truly helped me to grow as a person. Plus there is the added bonus of living in Brighton -- one of the most amazing cities in England!

Study experience

I highly recommend Brighton Uni to anyone who is currently considering pursuing a Masters of Business Administration degree. The program focuses on building relationships with your fellow classmates. From day one the lecturers stress that the students are not in competition with one another -- we are there to help each other. This open collegial atmosphere is further deepened by the class trips that are taken to France and Belgium, as well as the numerous group assignments that are an integral part of the MBA.

Facilities

The libraries are alright. The computer pools, in my opinion, aren't large enough. Plus you have to pay to print your work (5p per page). The gym really is really nothing to talk about. It is small, and there isn't even a pool.

Postgraduate life

The University could improve on this. I did my first degree in the U.S and there were hundreds of clubs and societies to choose from. Here there are only a handful.

Job prospects

Doing the MBA has helped me to focus more on the area of business that I want to get into -- namely marketing. Plus it has given me a general managaement background. However career services for post-grads is definately an area that the school needs to improve on.
