Postgraduate Road Vehicle Engineering reviews
Overall score
My one year spent as a masters student at loughborough has been enjoyable and memorable. The uni has a good reputation (though some people outside Leicester haven't heard of the name before!) in engineering circles. Beautiful campus and excellent facilities.
Study experience
My course had only 30 days of classes for the year, but every second of them was interesting and informative. 40% of classes were handled by engineers from Ford, Lotus, Jaguar, etc.
Facilities
Library is excellent. Always found more computers than users in my department. Lots of football and cricket pitches to keep sports people happy.
Postgraduate life
There are clubs, but very few appealed to me. The ones I wanted took very few members.
Job prospects
All my EU friends found jobs within a month of completing their studies. Well, I can't blame the uni for my work permit toubles, but organisations do respect the Loughborough brand name.
