Postgraduate Sports Studies and Combined Sports reviews
Overall score
Excellent university, great sports facilities, great student union.
Study experience
Fantastic, at least they were in the department where I studied (Institute of Sport & Leisure Policy)
Facilities
Excellent sports facilities - really impressed. Like the library too.
Postgraduate life
Loads of clubs and soc's and chances to get involved
Job prospects

Overall score
If you want to travel by car you must get in the car parks by 820 for decent space, you wont get one by 9 am as it will be full. the police regulary give parking tickets (£30 fine) and parking nearby is a joke. You could have arguments with the parking S.S. who love giving orders and winding students up.
Study experience
Thought I might be treated as an adult instead of like kids but what the hay!
Facilities
Best buy your own books and study at home with your freinds.
Postgraduate life
Ours is ok but we put the effort in which explains why we are the biggest (and only one)
Job prospects
found out too late not many people have heard of the uni

Sports LLM
De Montfort University
Steph, January 2008Overall score
University was a massive eye opener, I came from a small town, to a uni full of people I didn't know. I would definitely recommend it to others. My advice would be not to be afraid of the unknown or the debt. It's all worth it. The uni has recently been refurbished and is now looking fantastic and really appealling.
Study experience
I enjoyed it, I found it interesting, there is room for improvement with the tutors I had as the were not always available.
Facilities
The new library and good computer facilities are excellent. New sports hall!
Postgraduate life
Sports clubs - hockey! Still friends with the majority of people I met through hockey at uni (even bought a house with 2, we still socialise!!)
Job prospects
Because it was such an open degree, I have struggled with what to do.
