Law LLB (Hons)

University Of Plymouth

Lucy, May 2010

Overall score

Come to an open day and experience the relaxed and laid back atmosphere of the University yourself!

Study experience

My course has far exceeded my expectations, the facilities available are more than adequate and the extra activities on offer to support my course are brilliant. Academic advice would be prepare for a great deal more independent learning supported by really relaxed and friendly personal tutors who are always willing to help!

Facilities

The facilities at the University are very good. the library has an extensive range of books, journals and newspapers etc as well as 24/7 computer access. The gym is fairly new and in great condition and well priced. The University is also the only one in europe to have its own marine and diving centre available to all students. The SU is great fun with always lots going on!

Postgraduate life

The University has over 100 different sports and societies and if there isn't one suitable for you, then you have the opportunity to start your own! As a member of the law society I enjoy taking part in mooting and negotiation competitions as well as attending socials and networking cheese and wine evenings.

Job prospects

My course will entitle me to look for a career in law. The facilities available at the University such as learning support, the careers service and the information gateway will help with CV's, interview techniques and applications in the future.
