Constitutional / Public Law

This course deals with legal, management and ethical issues and provides you with a broader understanding of the �law in context�. It will equip you with a deeper understanding of the difficult and complex questions that will inevitably be raised during your study of this polemic area of law.
Modules include: introduction to sources of health care law and rights to health care; liabilities of health care practitioners; regulation of health care; treatment of vulnerable groups; law, society and ethics; dissertation.
Applications are welcomed from candidates who hold a 1st or 2nd Class law degree or equivalent (e.g. CPE/PgDip in Law). Candidates who have not reached this standard but who have more than 2 years experience in the area may be considered for admission on the basis of individual merit. International students must provide a recognised English language qualification: IELTS 6.5 band score, or equivalent qualification.
