Experience at Salford University is amazing. Excellent teaching staff, cooperative admin staff and a good variety of gentlemen from around the world. I would recommend for those who like best for little value. The Finance and exposure with business environment need some improvement in get exposure in UK. Be well prepared and well informed.

Study experience

MSc International Business. Quite good environment as teachers are quite cooperative. I take 10 hours in a week. Provide good base for learning more.

Facilities

Quite Satisfactory. Good computer labs and Cafe. Sport facilities is fantastic and have quite good sports grounds.

Postgraduate life

There are number of clubs and societies but I like Sports and Gym and International Club Society.

Job prospects

Not so disappointing. If one like to get one can find job of his taste.

Overall score

My university experience for the first year was great, it was outstanding, and I can only say that it was a life time opportunity for me that currently I am in university because I personally never ever thought that I can actually make it to university. I think there is no age or time limit in university, it’s all about how far you want to study and what you personally want to see yourself as in future. University is so much fun, I would for sure recommend other to go to university and will say that “make your dream come true”.

The only thing I would like to say to those students who are thinking about starting university soon is work 100 times harder you worked at college or whatever you did before you start university because I can sure that to you it will be hard but most of all it will be enjoyable and coming to university is a life time opportunity.

You will enjoy it. Good luck to those who are starting university this September. Have fun.

Study experience

I personally thought that all I would have to do is pay the tuition fees to university and then sit in the library to read books all the time, I never knew that we had seminars or lectures. I knew about lecture that there might be a lecture ones a week but never knew that there can be a lecture or a seminar every week. It’s amazing how staff and student work together to succeed.
I think the way staff, I and other student work, will for sure succeed without a problem but as long we are on top of everything and attending lectures and seminars then there should be no problem to succeed at all.
One personal advice to new students is that works hard, never ever think that university can be easy and for sure enjoy.

Facilities

I would rate the library 10 because the library indeed is very good, it provides mostly everything what a law student requires such as all the relevant Law books, which are up-to-date versions of the book and additional material which can help Law students with their work and even the computers are up-to-date, that student can in second find all the relevant material online because it also available online and paper version too.
Students can choose the one they prefer and I think this is one of the best things I love about Law Library. Law library is designed separately from the other Library to make it stand out and attract students from different courses too. I often see other courses student in the Law library because it just too attractive that any student can easily be attracted by the look of the Law library.
The amount of computers the library has it amazing because the university understand that it’s important to have enough computers for each student so whenever they require one they can get one without waiting for someone to finish and then you getting that computer. No it doesn’t work that way, the amount of computers the university has is more than enough for students.
The bar the university has is just amazing as university because it usually opens till late and students can also arrange for example a birthday party if they wish and all the requirements for the party are full filled in just few days before the party.
Those students who are into sports, they don’t need to worry at all because the sports facilities in the university is one of the best facilities because it provides mostly everything from football to basketball, from tennis and pool, and also from squash to gym and many more and if students requires more different variety of then all they have to do is put an application in and it will be for sure succeed if there are more than 12 students but if it’s not a problem, it just that it might take longer to decide, but it will come true for sure.

Postgraduate life

There are many different types of clubs and societies the university provides such as Indian society, Chinese society, Islamic society and Frisbee club, pirate clubs and many more.
Currently I am not a member of a any of the society but I don’t mind getting involve but not yet until I get some time because I am very busy.

Job prospects

After my degree I am think of doing a Legal Practice Course so I can qualify as a solicitor, but if I wanted to carry on with my Law degree than I would for sure do Postgraduate or even a Master in Law and this will be in the same university.
My course will help me to get into any career I want but I am focusing on more into Law type rather than any other career and my degree will guide me to the right career in life.
