The best thing about my course is that it's interesting, inspiring, and related to my current job. I wanted to work in libraries, and know I'd have a better chance at getting promoted if I held a CILIP-accredited qualification.

I think this course is ideal if you are working in a information/library field or you would like to be. If you are not, I think you would need to be very self-motivated as much of the course is done independently. The onus is on the student to research, hand in assignments, and contact the school if needed.

I like this method of study; in fact it's why I applied to Aberystwyth. However, I could imagine some folks would struggle with the lack of interaction with other people.

I cannot fault Aberystwyth one bit.
