The Whatuni Student Choice Awards, WUSCAs for short, are the biggest higher education student-voted awards in the UK. Universities and colleges are recognised for their efforts to meet and exceed student expectations over the past year.
This year the WUSCAs celebrated their 10th year in a ceremony hosted by comedian Richard Ayoade on Tuesday 24 May in East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf.
Due to pandemic restrictions last year, the awards were condensed to just four categories but with students finally back on campus this year, we were able to gather reviews that encompass the full student experience.
The Whatuni review collectors enjoyed being back on campus too and were able to interact with students and collect reviews in person. The new QR code function made it even easier for students to share their thoughts from their smartphones.
1st: University of Greenwich, London
2nd: Nottingham Trent University
3rd: Bangor University
“I have recently started the Specialist District Nursing Course in January 2022. I found all the course lecturers very friendly, willing to help and very knowledgeable. I have been made to feel very comfortable whilst on campus. This university is all round very good.”
