Dr Sarah Gorman, reader at the University of Roehampton, gives students an overview of the Department of Drama, Theatre, & Performance. The department has a wide range of staff who teach students to specialise and develop critical thoughts in the areas of drama, theatre, and performance. The offered MA programme is aimed at early to mid career artists. The Department has a very vibrant and active research culture. On graduation, many students go on to do PhDs or go into publishing, arts management, arts administration, and many other areas. At PhD level, applicants are expected to have a project in mind.
