Dr Margaret Shewring, reader in Theatre & Performance Studies, speaks about the postgraduate diploma and MA in Theatre Consultancy at The University of Warwick. The course is unique and targets highly skilled consultants (who could be working in professional theatre) looking to enhance their skills, fill in gaps in their experience, and develop their overall understanding of theatre resources and theatre buildings. Most applicants have full-time jobs and aren’t expected to have a first degree (assuming they have sufficient experience in the relevant area).
