Professor Richard Sambrook, Deputy Head, gives an overview of the Cardiff School of Journalism, Media & Cultural Studies. He talks about what courses are on offer, the facilities available and the strengths of the department. Postgraduate courses range from the very practical and vocational, aiming to help students work in the newsroom, to those which are much more academic and social science based. Students will develop a very particular way of thinking, with the ability to gather and analyse information and communicate it clearly.
