Dr Liesbeth de Block, Senior Lecturer in Education, gives an overview of the MA in Sociology of Childhood and Children’s Rights The course comprises three core modules: theories of childhood and children’s rights, researching childhood, and children’s rights in practice. Students also have the chance to conduct their own research when writing a dissertation. Welcoming guest speakers, such as those working in NGOs, early education and lawyers, the course has been designed to be both theory and practice.
