Peter Milburn, Academic Lead for Postgraduate Medical Education, explains the career prospects for students graduating from the Cardiology or Surgery postgraduate programmes. Applicants will already be medical practitioners with at least either one year’s experience in cardiology or three years post medical school experience for the surgeon route. They are required to demonstrate they have a commitment to start and further a career in their particular specialties.
