Dr Guest talks about the various career opportunities that students gain on completion of their studies. Students typically enter a wide range of jobs : from NGOs, to government-work and the ministry. Some students return to the department for doctoral studies. In the last five years 45% of doctoral students have gone into teaching and a number of them also go into the publishing industry. Applicants for doctoral studies in Theology and Religion should demonstrate a proven academic track-record with a good research idea that complements the research conducted at the School. Some students may also be directed to do the integrated PhD.
