The kind of jobs that I would say this program prepares people for includes management roles within marketing communications, including PR. It's a very good understanding of how incomes works with brands. More generic brand management roles within businesses and retailing. So, it covers quite a wide range of functions in both family owned brands and large conglomerates.
What I look for in an applicant is a good first degree in an academic subject. Most of all I'm looking for someone who really understands what luxury is about, and has a firm idea of why they want to join a program that's specifically about luxury brand management. They should also understand that luxury is a global industry, and have some good understanding of the way the world works in terms of macro, global and economic issues.
