Students go in to a variety of rules in heritage education, heritage management, heritage interpretation and the museum sector in heritage policy. And we also have students in positions, quite senior positions in those areas in places like Canada, Australia, Vietnam, Sweden and increasingly international in terms of where student destinations are.
Apart from a good first degree we're looking for enthusiasm, a passion for heritage, a passion for understanding the past and what it actually means in the present, and people who can engage with the heritage sector in a critical way. But we know that critical approach needs to be tempered with practical experience which again brings back to what we can actually give students in terms of a very strong immersion in the heritage sector.
