Professor Chris Bellamy, who specialises in Maritime Security, introduces students to the postgraduate programmes taught at the Greenwich Maritime University. The programmes on offer are the MA in Maritime History, the MA in International Maritime Policy, the MSc in Maritime Security and the MA by research in Maritime Studies. Students go on to find work at the likes of Lloyds and Maersk, as well as other shipping companies. Most applicants have some years of experience at sea and aspire to move into the management aspect of shipping by opting for these programmes.
