A Brief Overview of the Department of Archaeology at Durham University

He describes staff-members as very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, with expertise in areas as diverse as Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Asian Archaeology. The Oriental Museum and the Fulling Mill Museum are important assets. Any student with a passion for archaeology can apply to study at Durham. Postgraduate students usually embark on a PhD or work in museums and some students choose to opt for other career-roles in project and business management.
