There's never been a more interesting and challenging time to be coming into newspapers. This is a newspaper. It's produced by our students, it contains a lot of very strong stories told in the traditional newspaper way. Headlines, text, pictures. This, too, is a newspaper. This is today's digital edition of our city's daily newspaper, The Sheffield Star. It contains a remarkably similar story about a sex attack. Big ethical issues there. In ten year's time, the newspaper might look quite a lot like this again, because we might be holding flexible, digital screens in our hands that contain video, audio, visual slide shows. Amazing digital content. The Harry Potter newspaper. The ethical, journalistic ramifications of all this are quite amazing and we want to make sure our students keep pace with it and keep their heads fully around these amazing and exciting developments.
