Professor Elspeth Garman, Professor of Molecular Biophysics, discusses the facilities available to students and the strengths of the Doctorial Training Centre (DTC) at the University of Oxford. The students have access to four directors from four different programmes, with three lecture theatres, a kitchen and a library within a pleasant building. Postgraduates are also taught by those leading in the various fields as the supervisors want to attract them to join their research groups. The DTC provides a diverse and friendly atmosphere with the opportunity to form lifetime networks and work with extremely able minds.
