Dr. Maxwell, director of Postgraduate Studies, & Dr Castelli, lecturer in International Approaches to Medicine introduces us to the School of Medicine, Pharmacy, & Health at Durham University. Dr. Sharyn tells us about the various areas the school covers; clinical disciplines and social sciences and humanities research related to medicine. She explains that the School has research centres in medical education, public policy and health, plus clinical trial and research evaluation units, meaning there are a broad range of areas in which students can effectively plan and carry out their research.
