The Parkwood and Garnet Campuses are surrounded by beautiful bluebell woodlands just a 10-minute stroll from seven miles of award-winning sandy beaches and sea views.
The idyllic setting makes AECC a popular destination for students who want to live the coastal lifestyle while studying. There’s a rich mix of green spaces to explore, some of the best beaches in Europe, great retail therapy, activity and leisure pursuits and plenty of entertainment.
Accommodation-related advice and support is also available throughout each and every academic year, including a guide for that year and personalised support for any issues or concerns that should arise.
Facilities
The facilities at AECC are second to none. AECC has one of only seven Open Upright MRI scanners in the country, alongside quantitative fluoroscopy, digital x-ray equipment and high-specification Samsung and AGFA ultrasound scanners.
The Human Performance Laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art testing and analysis equipment used to support professional sportspeople. Students will also learn about rehab, injury resistance and performance enhancement in the Exercise Centre.
Clinical training is a fundamental element of the courses at AECC. Students are well-prepared for the working world when they graduate and clinical placements are offered in state-of-the-art onsite facilities.
The beautiful library is housed in an old chapel, decorated with beautiful stain-glassed windows and high ceilings. The library provides a calm and relaxing environment both to focus and to enjoy the stunning interiors.
Students can take advantage of tech-enabled study pods, desk space, seating areas and a self-service kiosk. With Wi-Fi throughout campus, areas dedicated to group or independent study, plenty of laptops for loan, and helpful staff on hand, the library is an ideal place to focus.
