ANGLIA RUSKIN UNIVERSITY
Overall Rating

for so much money being paid for the course, it is very poor comparing to other universities. I would not recommend Anglia Ruskin to anyone, they don't treat you fair and for so much money paid you get very little in return

Student Union

Clubs and Societies

Uni Facilities

Course and Lecturers

i don't like anything. the lecturers just rush through powerpoint to finish early, most times they don't give us extra information and just read the slides. they give us so many complicated and difficult assignments forgetting that we are all adults doing postgraduate that have jobs and other commitments outside uni. sometimes it feels like they're forced to help you when you come with an issue or a question. the assignments have no sense and sound like they were made up on the spot by the lecturers without any research that cam back it up. the online course description is so much different than real life, actually it is nothing like real life. the grading system in unfair and every lecturer explains things different than the other so it is easy to get mixed up

City Life

it is far away from my house but close to city centre

Job Prospects

it doesn't. lecturers treat you like you know everything (if I did, I wouldn't be at uni) and most work experience is done by volunteering which is not suitable for a person like me that does not have daddy's credit card to use and has to work to pay bills.

Student Support

when you come over for help they sometimes seem like they're forced to help you and answer your questions. some tutors give very brief feedback with just 2 comments and that's it without giving you details. it is also near impossible to book an counselling appointment
