It's really great having a community with artistic people. Even though, the tutors encourage us to work with other courses, I just wish that cross-curricular work was more facilitated. I would like to have more events where students, from different major, could get to know each other, share experiences and talk about their projects. read full review

ARTS UNIVERSITY BOURNEMOUTH

Jayanti - December 2024

- great student service responses.,
- good tutors and great support
- good uni vibe overall
- some great fooding places within the uni, namely- uni food shop
- good library services, great collection
- great access to educational sites like Kanopy. (wish there were more yearly based subscriptions to sites like Mubi)

- Some of the staff members I came across weren't the most polite people but the rest are courteous.
- I'd say the uni should start to give the Master's courses equal importance too, in terms of providing stable space and facilities throughout the year.
- There's always room to improve, but since it is a newer university, I'd suggest it pushes on the inclusivity aspect of it. I saw the onset of student bodies separate from the uni's and addressing important, unbiased issues, which was good to see. I hope more of that happens.

Good environment, good tutors, good staffs. read full review
As a (very) mature student I feel completely welcomed and supported. The tutors are very supportive with plenty of opportunity for one to one tutorials as well as excellent group sessions and invited speakers. Part time students like myself don’t have studio space so I can’t really comment there but the workshops and print room facilities are second to none. read full review
For myself as a photographer, no other school I researched provided anything like the facilities and equipment for student use available at AUB. I really don’t have a negative word- the international team were beyond helpful prepping me to attend, and the director of my program is accessible and participatory at a level I’ve not experienced in higher education. The food in the caf is not outstanding but that seems to be more an aspect of its Britishness rather than itself being bad. Not a lot of parking, I hear- but I can’t think of a single negative aspect for myself personally as an international mature student. read full review
My best experiences are the supporting facilities there is an array of different workshops from wood to metal to resin and laser cutting there is such a big possibility with how you can execute your assignments and the staff are very helpful

My worst experiences is mainly the food on campus they are not a lot of options when it comes to that and the food in the cafeteria is pricey and not all that tasty read full review
