In this course you will work on the algorithms for processing images on mobile devices, such as smart phones and tablets. The focus will be on the processing for new camera architectures and displays. We are a well recognised group in the area of high dynamic range imaging with a strong links to industry and outstanding publication record. You will have an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and obtain sought-after skills in the growing field of mobile and visual computing.

Applicants need to have a good honours degree or equivalent. Candidates must have strong programming skills (C++, Matlab) and good mathematical background. Although not required, the candidates should have some exposure to image / signal processing, computer vision and computer graphics.
