Course Summary

The two-year paid programme is based on global best practice and research and refined through more than 14 years of experience and feedback from leading employers, teaching experts and, of course, previous participants. Developed in collaboration with leading schools and universities including Bath Spa, the Teach First Leadership Development Programme combines world-class teacher and leadership training, leading to a qualification that formally recognises your advanced skills in both teaching and leadership.

During the programme you’ll gain a fully-funded Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), covering both education and leadership, and worth double the credits of a PGCE, to become a qualified teacher. You’ll also acquire the key skills and personal qualities needed to develop you into an effective leader - someone who can make a real impact.

If you can inspire in the classroom, you can bring resilience, efficiency and imagination to any environment, no matter where your career takes you.

As well as in the classroom, you will be supported throughout the programme through university-based sessions, your mentor in school as well as experienced staff.
