BOURNEMOUTH UNIVERSITY
Overall Rating

Generally Bournemouth University is a good University, however the amount of money that is being paid from us students to Universities are surely more than just above the benefits gained from going into Higher Education! I am very pleased with my decision to study at Bournemouth University as I have been taught a lot, but I would not chose to again. Not because of the quality of teaching, but more because of the overpricing of any Higher Education degree.

Student Union

Clubs and Societies

Accommodation

University Accommodation is extremely overpriced for the quality of accommodation and access to facilities provided. During my whole Undergraduate degree (also at Bournemouth University) I have lived in privately rented accommodations which charged half the price for the same or even better living quality.

Uni Facilities

Course and Lecturers

Courses are well structured and Lecturers are very helpful and display a high degree of scientific expertise. However clarity of marking criteria and comments on marked assignments are lacking.

City Life

Job Prospects

Job prospects depend largely on work experience rather than the grades/which University I graduated from. However Lecturers may be very helpful/useful in creating contacts with institutions for future work positions.

Student Support

General: People do not get to the point and most of the time referred me to someone else or to come back another time/day.Lecturers: Are generally very supportive, although as mentioned earlier clarity of marking criteria and help with/ clarifying certain specific tasks was lacking in some

Having said what you have said would you recommend your uni?
