Finding a decent place is one of the keys to effective studying. It's difficult to learn in a noisy environment. However, the best study spot for you could not be the best study spot for someone else. You may not enjoy studying in a secluded or even particularly quiet environment, but you should make sure that the environment is suitable to your learning style, helps you to concentrate, and is free of distractions.
Because some people learn better in a place with background noise, studying in a quiet area is not always suggested. It's difficult to concentrate while studying in a library with people continually coming and going, librarians refilling books, and people conversing. Some students prefer to study in a small cubical where they won't be affected by noise or other visual stimuli, while others prefer to study in the midst of the hustle and bustle. My university can also supply many things, such as previous exams so you can see how the exam looks, and the doctors there are extremely helpful. Moreover, there are many places you can study in, like the library, bedroom, school's study lounge, and class room. All these things can be useful to the student.
