Brunel University of London

If I have to sum it up in only one line, then on any given day, it would be "LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT" since the day I put my first step into the university. I know it sounds a bit filmy, but this comes straight from my heart. Therefore, this review is going to be very personal and honest.

To commence, I still remember that Brunel University London was not at the top of my priority list of universities to pursue my Master's Degree because of the very high fees. But as they say, everything is already written, and it was my destiny to join Brunel as things didn't go well with other universities, so I started my process with them in India. The admission team is the first contact between students and the university, and you realise that you made the right choice when they guide you and support you in the best possible way. I still remember asking them millions of questions, and they responded promptly and positively each time. They made the entire process very smooth, from applying to the course to getting CAS.

Meanwhile, I learned about the International Excellence Scholarship awarded by Brunel University London worth £6000. I was very sceptical about applying for it as only 60 were available for all the applicants worldwide. Yet, I appliedused on the deadline day and expressed why I deserve this scholarship. By the grace of god and thanks to the university, they accepted my application and awarded me the 6000 scholarship. I felt so valued; at that point, my admiration for the university grew.

So back to "LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT", when I reached the university on the first day, I instantly fell in love with the campus, and its modern infrastructure like I used to watch in movies back in India. The Lecture building, labs, cafes, student centres, open spaces, gardens, and how could I forget the sports park as a football player? The state-of-the-art amenities. So, each penny of the expensive fees was worth it.

Apart from materialistic things, people are so friendly and helpful, from students to staff to professors. You never feel alone, and it feels like home. The lecturers are very experienced and talented. They always make you feel matter and are ready to support and guide you in the right direction. I never feel like bunking any lectures, not because I am nerdy, but because the atmosphere is just incredible. In addition, the university has a firm hold on Placement and career development department.

Despite being a leader in education and sports, this university excels in other areas such as mental health, disability and LGQBT. I have never seen any other organisation this inclusive in my life. People from any race, colour or gender are valued here.

Lastly, in terms of improvements, the university could work on providing more affordable accommodation options for students. I wanted to live n campus to experience campus life to the fullest, but due to expensive accommodations, I had to choose different options, and now that costs me time, energy and money. However, these are minor issues compared to all the great things Brunel University London offers.

Well, I have poured my heart enough to express my experience and admiration for Brunel University London. I highly recommend Brunel University London to anyone looking for a dynamic, challenging, and supportive university experience.
