Overall Rating

At first I was unsure of what to expect as this was my first time moving away from home and not only that put moving to a different country. I was quickly put to ease and was welcomed with open arms. I was overwhelmed with the amount of support and guidance the university had to offer. Everyone from the student ambassadors, university staff and lecturers have been extremely helpful not only in regards to my studies but also financial support and mental well-being.

The availability of an on campus gym was also important to me as I have a passion for all things health and fitness. This as well as a wide range of clubs and societies has really added to my experience not only from a health aspect but also meeting and socialising with new friends.

The university is ideally located and is just a short train journey into London city center, ensuring that there is always something to do especially om weekends.

There is never a dull moment in the university and the students union always has a fun event planned for everyone to enjoy. Whether that's going on a night out, playing bingo or just listening to a comedy show.

The one criticism I would have is that there is little green spaces on the university campus, however, this is understandable as there are not many areas where one could be added.

The halls are great value for money and although basic, they have everything that you could need.

They are situated across from the bus station and shopping center and are only a 10 minute walk from the university.

I feel extremely safe here as the halls are staffed by 24 hour security and the gates are constantly closed allowing only residents with a key access.
