Bucks New University is a friendly, vibrant place to study. It has over 125 years experience of providing employer-lead higher education, having started out in 1891, running evening classes for the local community and retraining soldiers into new employment.

Today, the university still focuses heavily on employability, with courses which blend together academic teaching with professional and practical elements. There is an on-going commitment to investing in industry-standard facilities as well as tutors who have a track record in business and professional insight.

Bucks is proud to be recognized for creating a supportive learning community with small class sizes, highly interactive teaching and focused employment-related studies and has earned a Silver Award in this year’s Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

Central London is easily reached from the university’s three campuses in High Wycombe, Uxbridge and Aylesbury.

  • The High Wycombe Campus has a state-of-the-art Gateway building offering commercial standard facilities and high-tech learning resources.
  • The specialist campus in Uxbridge is home to an award-winning simulation suite for the university’s prestigious nursing and healthcare courses.
  • The newest of the university’s campus in Aylesbury Vale is a partnership with Bucks College Group providing degree level and professional development programmes and houses two technology centres combining research, innovation and education.
