Cardiff Metropolitan University is one of Cardiff’s oldest educational institutions, having gone through several name changes during its history. It has two campuses (Cyncoed and Llandaff) which are just outside the city centre and provides a range of different courses. Approximately 35% of its students are studying a postgraduate qualification, and 30% of their overall attendees are mature students.
The university was awarded a Silver Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) rating in 2017.
