MSc Engineering Management focuses on building the essential skills and competencies that senior managers require to succeed in this sector, including industrial engineering innovation skills as well as strategic business and management techniques.

You will take modules in quality engineering and management, international strategy and operations, business economics, leadership, project management and product innovation. You will also complete a substantial engineering management report which focuses on providing value-added improvements within companies.

This programme has been designed to be accessible by students who have graduated from almost any discipline. It does not require detailed technical knowledge.

This module examines microeconomics and macroeconomics principles, concepts and methods of analysis. The module analyses the microeconomic behaviour of individuals, households, firms, and their interactions. The module also covers the macroeconomic behaviour of economic aggregates, including gross domestic product, consumption, investment, inflation, unemployment and the balance of payments.

Entry requirements

Entry Requirements Normally, an undergraduate degree at 2:2 or above. However. Candidates with HND + significant and appropriate experience may be allowed to entre the programme. Each applicant will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
