Master of Business Administration - International MBA

Introduction

This MBA is designed for professionals who are seeking to improve their management and leadership skills, and broaden their theoretical knowledge of business and management. Study with ARU London over 12 or 24 months, and acquire a deep knowledge of all key business functions. You’ll gain a greater appreciation of the significance of the interrelationship of functional areas to the overall success of a business, in international, national and local markets.

Our MBA offers you the opportunity to study at postgraduate level while maintaining and enhancing your contribution to your employer. We recognise that today, business is conducted across international boundaries and that globalisation is a phenomenon that impacts all organisations. Therefore, our focus is on the specific challenges facing organisations that have global operations, or that transact business internationally. The course will also support the development of a range of transferable executive skills including leadership; strategic decision making; problem-solving; change management, creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship; finance; operations management; marketing and human resource management.

How you'll be assessed

This MBA is assessed through assignments and a dissertation. Assignments are based on the six taught modules; meanwhile the 15,000-word dissertation can be based on your organisation, or an organisation that you’re very familiar with.

Aimed at professionals who are in management or executive management positions, our MBA is designed to broaden your knowledge and expertise; fulfil employers’ requirements; and help you progress in your career. During your studies, there will be the opportunity to take part in our Employability Scheme with the specific objective of enhancing your future employment prospects. This includes CV workshops, interview techniques, career counselling and visits from prospective employers. Alternatively, you might decide to continue your studies and progress to a DBA or PhD.

Students must have the equivalent of a UK first degree at 2:2 or above plus relevant experience. If they have completed a bachelors degree or an equivalent non-UK qualification and did not achieve the required grades for entry, but can demonstrate that the life/work skills would make them suitable, they should still consider applying.
