Overview

This exciting new interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence Strategy MSc programme prepares you for a successful career as a leading professional in Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will develop a systematic understanding of the Artificial Intelligence domain, and learn all the practical, leadership and research skills needed to analyse the application, regulatory and management aspects of AI in global organisational contexts.

Course content

The programme is designed to give you hands-on opportunities to learn about the implications, applications, limitations and opportunities of Artificial Intelligence in various private, public and third sectors. You will learn how to determine when to pursue new, frontier technologies and consider options for how to implement them for wider organisational and societal benefits.

You will develop the expertise to plan, design and implement appropriate and ethical AI solutions in practical scenarios, with a focus on business applications of artificial intelligence and learn to prepare for future challenges of AI.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 (or above) UK Honours degree or an equivalent internationally recognised qualification in or a related or non-related subject. In addition, applicants should have a minimum 2 years post-graduation work experience to include experience of the following: team work; leading and supporting projects; and report preparation or writing. All applicants should submit a full CV when they apply. Applicants with a 2.2 or international equivalent will be considered on an individual basis according to the merits of each application.
