Course Summary

Our Graduate College provides a friendly, diverse and supportive environment for all our postgraduate students.

Overview

Improve your knowledge of clinical neuropsychology for professional CPD or to count fully toward the 'knowledge' component of the adult clinical neuropsychology QiCN/SRCN, with our British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited postgraduate diploma.

The course is delivered 100% online and is supported by a variety of materials, including pre-recorded lectures, live webinars, facilitated student activities, required and recommended reading lists, and web-based and university database resources. The course is structured in its learning design and timeframes, though is largely self-directed and self-paced so you can adapt to fit your schedule and lifestyle.

Why study Clinical Neuropsychology?

This PGDip is one of several postgraduate professional degrees in psychology offered by the Salomons Institute for Applied Psychology.

The course is aimed at HCPC registered clinical or counselling psychologists, and is ideal if you wish to improve your knowledge of clinical neuropsychology or if neuropsychology is a key component of your employment, and is? British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited in adult clinical neuropsychology, therefore allowing you to enter the pathway toward the SRCN.

How you’ll be assessed

You will be assessed using a number of formats designed to tap into the different skills you are expected to develop during your course. These include timed online secure exams, topic papers, team project, your involvement in the online community and two clinical case reports.

Your future career

The course will improve your knowledge and skills, and enhance your employment opportunities in clinical neuropsychology, and if pre-qualified, allows you to pursue the next ‘practice’ stage of the pathway to the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists (SRCN) or BPS Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QiCN).
