This covers lectures, seminars, group work, small group discussions, statistics lab sessions, and research project supervision.

Modules

This module is designed to provide you with advanced practical knowledge of quantitative data analytic techniques that are used in economics and psychology. You will gain the necessary statistical knowledge and skills to conduct independent and original research and to evaluate critically the research methods used in behavioural economics.

Entry requirements

At least an upper second class (2.1) degree in Psychology, Economics or a related discipline (or equivalent in terms of professional qualifications). An equivalent qualification from an overseas university is acceptable. Selection is by application form, personal statement and we may invite you for an interview. It is not a prerequisite to have a background in Economics or Psychology, but it is helpful to have previous training in research methods and statistics.
